Golem in the Mirror by Ptrope Golem in the Mirror by Ptrope
Inspired by PDSmith, I decided to play around a bit with Ash-Li, my female 'Golem,' a seemingly-abandoned project by Starfleet to augment its crews with artificial humanoids.

For the Mirror Universe, I made her a little bit spicier, a little more aggressive in appearance and manner, and gave her a bit more fashionable 'do.' This is just a test image - I'm going to set a larger scene, but I wanted to tune her up a bit for the Empire ;).

EDIT: I updated the image slightly - re-rendered using indirect lighting, and I removed her 'beauty mark,' which, frankly, I didn't like, don't like in real life, and was apparently one more thing that made her look like 'Six' from Tripping the Rift, which was never my intent (in fact, I've never watched the show!); I just put it on because she would've looked strange with a Van Dyke (we call what Spock had a 'goatee,' but it really was a Van Dyke ;)).

Here's a shot of the Golem from the 'normal' TOS universe:

Ask and ye shal receive ;) - the torc is now available on ShareCG: [link]

I saw your Golem collar freebie on ShareCG! Could "I Still Mudd" be right around the corner??
Man, the texture on that dress is just dynamite! Very impressive.

Oshikai gets the kudos for the dress - I just adjusted the colors for the Golem Project. Man, there are a lot of nodes that get it to that point!

"Mudd's Thralls" :D.

I'm honored with the mention of my name, she looks good (evil), I can only imagine her uses in the Howard Era of the MU I've created. Thanks for sharing her necklace. I'll use it as soon as I can.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd take that guarantee - she looks pretty conniving to me ;).

I kinda want to recreate her as a bridge officer in Star Trek: Online. Might give me something to do between homework tomorrow.

That could be kinda cool - I'd be happy to provide any graphic info you need about the Golem, like the badge design, color settings, etc. - maybe even skin texture (the only texture map I use is for the face, just so I can get the eyeshadow and the specific shading of her lips :); everything else is just color and specularity, and now sub-surface scattering, so her skin has a somewhat silicone-like texture).

STOs character creator has some limitations: For example, it is woefully lacking in hair options and colour pallet. The only hair options that part in the center? They have pigtails (and as funny as that might be it removes a bit from her appearance) So I went with a different style that is somewhat similar in effect (spiky) and went with the closest colour for uniform as I could. Also I couldn't put the terran emblem on the right side of her chest without using the TOS Terran Sports Bra. [link]
