Trying out a new outfit by Oshikai that is perfect for TOS:

Luckily, I had a model of the badge that I'd made for a different outfit (that wasn't nearly as good). This image was really more of a test for the outfit than any sort of planned concept. but I like the way it turned out, and it makes me very hopeful for future explorations.
This render took much longer than it should have - the divider behind Ensign Audrey Benes is translucent, and the floor was highly-reflective, so when the two got together, the machine cried
. And since there was nothing special behind the divider, the translucence was, essentially, wasted CPU hours ...
