In a universe just 3 seconds away from our own, the Federation captured a Klingon ship and modified it in order to perform special missions and testing. Unofficially dubbed the "Kher'Q" class, it carries the name of Khitomer for the Federation.

Interesting "what if". By the TNG era the Federation has a few D12's stashed away in a number of shipyards, along with a lot other other stuff. I wonder why they didn't use those hulls during the Dominion War to bolster their numbers... Oh well, just a thought. Clap :) (Smile)
