Dart for Art's Sake

This piece is inspired by, and dedicated to, Art Fitzpatrick - Art is a premiere automotive illustrator, perhaps best known for his stunning Pontiac "Wide Track" paintings in the '60s and '70s, which showed sleek, long, wide machines in exotic locales and with vivid palettes. They were some of the finest advertising images in the automotive industry, and I had them firmly in mind while making this promotional shot for the Dart '457' model.
